Ready To Run

There's been a lot of ups and downs lately, and yesterday was, unfortunately, a down day. I was tired and crabby and sad, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't seem to snap out of it.

I'm not going to dwell on it, though. I got through the day, and I went to bed super early and was able to sleep late this morning, and as a result am feeling much better today. 

Off to my race in a few hours, and feeling good about it. It won't be a super fast one - I'm just not back up to speed (literally) in my training yet, and I'll be happy with anything under 25 minutes. 

But it's a beautiful spring day, and it's going to be a fun race, and I'll come home to three boys who love me dearly, and that's pretty awesome.
