I'm not on edge, but apparently everyone else is, wondering when I'm going to finally have this baby!
I understand, though, and nobody's pestering me. It's kind of funny being overdue and pregnant in the age of facebook, because as soon as there's a lapse in my posting a status update, people assume that I must be in labor. Being pregnant on facebook has been really fun, though - fun to share the ups and downs, and just to share all the news and progress in general.
But, as was the case yesterday, there is nothing new to report today. I went for my walk this morning - in the bitter cold! - and spent the morning vacuuming and mopping the floors, and all I have to show for it is a sore back - no contractions. A few Braxton-Hicks, but that's nothing new, as I've been having those on and off for a while.
It's nice to have clean floors, though.
As we were driving home from school today, Gabe - who has been so much chattier about school than usual lately, which is a really nice change - said to me "Oh, Mommy, I have to tell you a funny story." Of course I said "Great - I can't wait to hear it." And this is what he said "This morning, I took my scissors and picked up a crayon with them."
I humored him and told him it was a funny story, but inside I was thinking that we really need to teach him the definition of the words "funny" and "story."
Yesterday afternoon Scott took the boys to the library, and when they came home, Dante came running over with a movie that he had picked out for me to watch - this is what he presented me with. How adorable is that? He was so proud of himself, and he told me that "you and Daddy can watch this after me and Gabe go to bed." I mean, really, can he get much cuter?????

Stopping by to say hello...
You were overdue and havent posted, maybe you have a new little one to keep you busy :)
Your races (and race times!) are truly inspirational, especially for someone who gave up running in her first timester!
