Medals All Around! - Matty Siravo 5K

Well, I had a long-term goal of someday taking 1st place in my age group, but I guess I should have made it a short-term goal, because I can now officially check that one off my to-do list!!!!  

A hot morning made for a slow finishing time - 24:11 - but that 24:11 was good enough for FIRST place in the 30-39 age group!!! Not a bad way to celebrate turning 37 years old : ) 

And the boys each got a medal for completing the "Matty's Mighty Dash," a 50-yard race to the finish line. It was beyond adorable. It was amazing to watch them. They both did so great, and had so much fun - huge grins on their faces the entire time.
