Is This What The "New Math" Is All About?

This morning Dante and I were talking about how old he is, and I told him he's 2 and a half. He said "2 and a half?"  And I said "Yes, 2 and a half."  Then he said "I'm two and a donut!"  New math, indeed : )

We had a fantastic trip down to CT today to visit family, and the quote of the day is very illustrative of how great it is to be a Grandparent or an Auntie with children to spoil -

"Gabe, you can't have your cupcake until you finish your Fluffernutter." 

Needless to say, the boys had a great time : )
