Proof that our little boy is really growing up - some stories he wrote at school recently:

"A ninja was in a castle. He was nice, kind and smart. But one day he was kidnapped by a doctor. The doctor was going to take his brain out. But his friends heard about it and from that day on the ninja never dreamed of space. The end. Written by Gabe. Illistrated by Gabe."

 

A Scorpion in the Jungle

"Once there was a scorpion who lived in a jungle. But he was not good at games. He could play checkers but no one wanted to play checkers because he cheated. But one day a man was very kind. he taught him how to play checkers. And from that day on he was great at games. The end. Signed by Gabe and written by Gabe."

 

"Once upon a time there lived a mummy who lived in Egypt. He was poor and he had no food or drink. But he was good to God. So one day God gave every single food in the world to him so on that day he was very very happy and so he could go to the field of reeds. And when he kissed Osiris so Osiris said when he really died he could be king and the mummy was so happy he just fell down. The end. Writed by Gabe and illastrated by Gabe."

 

His teacher wrote that it was second and third grade level work. We're very proud of our little man : )

The stories were super good and just about what every seven year old likes to read and talk about (taking out brains, etc.) Being such a good speller, Dad was very proud of Gabe's spelling !
