Awesome 16 miler-- I think you will definitely make your 3:40 goal! The mental confidence of a great long run is huge :-) Glad you were able to get it in on Saturday. That storm was such a dud for Providence!

Michelle

Thanks! My confidence is increasing with every long run, and you're right, that does go a long way toward achieving those goals! Yes, total dud of a storm, but I'm ok with that - this has been a great winter for marathon training!

Wes

anytime the temp is blow, oh say 45, I head to the gym :-) I no longer whine about having to run on the treadmill. I just do it. Then, on the other hand, I have been getting out into the cold a bit more, but 35 and snowing, that's a special kind of crazy! LOL!!

One thing I've learned about small children, they don't have to be reasonable, and are often, quite frankly, deliberately unreasonable. I've never made a big deal out of it. Those moments are not what defines our relationships. The mature folks just have to ride out the storm. The younger ones, well, they will grow up.

Michelle

Yes, we do a lot of 'riding out the storm' over here : )
